TGIF!

Whew, what a week it has been! Here's a quick break-down of our fun week...and why I am majorly TGIF-ing.

Monday: 

Labor Day...more like lazy day. ;)

Tuesday: 

Baby boy cutting tooth #2. NO FUN again. 

Christian's pre-school teacher posted pictures from the previous week. They learned about PETS, PIRATES, PRINCESSES and...you guessed it...the letter P! ;)

Also, G's new baby mocs came in! Baby blue and charcoal...of course, from Jane.com. Obsessed is an understatement.

Tuesday night into Wednesday:

Christian woke up with a very high fever. I kicked Dustin out of our bed, brought Christian in with me and stayed up all night trying to bring his fever down. Gavin also had a bad night of teething...I think I managed 3 hours of sleep! #momlife

The boys woke me up early (hence the 3 hours of sleep)...one with a tooth FINALLY broken through and one with a fever of 103.1. Hello, doc, here we come!

The verdict from the doc: STREP THROAT! Womp womp. No school for this guy, and praying the baby doesn't catch it!

Trying to get a picture of his two little teeth, but he wasn't having it. I did manage an awfully cute photo though!

 I also fled the coop for about an hour to do a little de-stressing/shopping. Retail therapy is the best kind, right?! (I also had to return something before my receipt was void & had a coupon that was about to expire...oh, darn.)

Thursday: 

Gavin was finally happy! We get a nice little teething break until the top ones decide to start making their way in.

Christian was feeling much better, but was still contagious, so we stayed cooped up in the house for the day.

I ended my Thursday with this amazing sight. Why are your children complete and total angels when they're sleeping?? All the day's stress fades away when you look at your sleeping baby. 

Friday: 

Christian had been on antibiotics for 3 days, so he was cleared to go to school! Poor guy still has a horrible cough though & sounds like he was up all night screaming at a rock concert! 

I had to wake lazy bones up to take Christian to school, and he slept the whole way there & back. It's a rough life, I tell ya. Picking brother up is always fun, although Gavin looks less than thrilled.

While wasting time before picking brother up, Gavin had his first car wash experience. He was confused at first, looked at me and then lost it. I think it really scared him! #meanestmomever

When Christian got home from school, we lunched it up, played a little, practiced our sitting up/big boy skills and then my favorite time = nap time!

Gavin has also recently started the changing-diaper-aerobics. Really, kid?! #nakedbaby

Our Friday night has consisted of Arni's pizza, popcorn & introducing Christian to Harry Potter. He approves!

And that's been our week! I think everyone is on the mend (KNOCK ON WOOD) and we have NO plans this weekend...except de-stressing from a rather stressful week. ;)
